Methinks the software is a bit flawed. Or I’m a beautiful German/Jewish/White/Slavic/Black/Chinese woman/man with giant breasts and an even gianter beard who hates other inventors, science, communism, Croatians, the Others, and basically everyone in Africa and have played in one shitty band after another. Oh, and sine Bismarck is on the list i also happen to look like the best person in all of history, better even than Augustus himself.
Or again, horribly flawed stuff there.
The day the spiders cried…. February 26, 2007

I hate spiders.
But I love when a spider sees a big pile of white powder on my floor (boric acid) and decides it’s a good place to lay it’s eggs.* The layer spider is laying dead beside the pile, most likely because it did whatever each little bug that goes by that pile is inclined to do, (I don’t know what that is, do they try to eat it? Is contact enough?)
I’m grossed out and afraid to have a whole bunch of new spiders ready to go, but I’m trying to convince myself to let them hatch on the big pile of poison because I just know that’ll be awesome.
*-I really thought they laid their eggs in sacks that they hang, butthis one is definitely an eggs sack.

Slow news day when a Catholic Bishop trashing state-sponsored childcare and calling women birthing machines makes the news.
Usually we just call that Sunday.
Let’s us go and worship other gods! February 25, 2007

Generally religious texts are written entirely to make sane people scared of neighbours who might be religious. And amongst religious texts, Deuteronomy is the most frightening of them all, (in a way*). I was thinking of posting a bunch of Deuteronomy madness from time to time, but got directed to the conservapedia’s entry on Deuteronomy (which I’m sure they consider to be one of the many “vandalized” posts). Among a number of choice directives singled out on this page was the following:
Deuteronomy 13:6-11 — If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Then all Israel will hear and be afraid, and no one among you will do such an evil thing again.
It’s not the worst thing in the bible. Sure, it involves murdering people for no reason, but that’s god’s standing order. (I hate to compare Rommel to god, but Rommel did after all give this order, during a war: “In the absence of orders, find something and kill it.” In the hands of a brilliant general who tried to kill Hitler, it’s a brilliant order. As the standing order of a crazy murder-god, it’s terrifying.)
No, what stands out in this quote is the scenario it made me visualize with it’s first line. The idea of my very own brother, of all people, coming to me and whispering “let us go and worship other gods” is terribly entertaining. “Yes brother, let us,” I should whisper…
And then we’d be off! Who what fun we’d have!
*-Some other texts are more frightening in the “oh my god these people are retarded” way. But Deuteronomy stands out as frightening in the “oh god I hope there are no Jews or Christians in my city because they will hunt me down and hand me over to their elders (at the gate) to be stoned to death” way.
I rather strongly want to cut my arm off. February 24, 2007

It’s not an uncontrollable urge, but it is very strong. I’m aware of why it might be a bad path to take, but knowing is only half the battle. Remember that I’ve in the past cut part of my foot off and tried to cut out what I thought was a tumor from my chest.
I hardly think that my arm would get properly replaced though, which to some degree would have been the point.
I’m (still) a Philanthropist! February 23, 2007

I’ve always been a Philanthropist, only now it’s not just because I feel my presence is the greatest gift anyone could give.
While excitedly looking over prospect.com, a site where you can lend people money and collect interest, I got very excitted! There’s a possibility of defaulting and such, but if you stick to high credit ratings it’s not so bad. But when it turned out that it was only available to Americans I switched my attention to kiva.org.
Kiva.org allows you to make microcredit loans to people in 16 countries. Initially I tried to lend money to Austrians, but none were available. The 16 chosen countries seem to be poor ones. I guess that makes sense.
Anyway, I’m sure you’re wondering how someone both so poor and so hateful could bring themselves to actually lend money in such a charitable way, one where I won’t even receive interest payments. It’s a good question.
The answer is simply that a man in Kenya owes me. That’s right, a Kenyan is indebted to me. Over time I will contribute more and more money to be loaned out and more and more people across the world will owe their livelihood, nay, their lives, to Me.
In my hands, my indebted shall become my army. Throngs, veritable Legions of supporters at my beck and call….
Tonight, Poland trembles.
I am the modern Patrician February 22, 2007
Posted by degenerateleftist in My Life.3 comments
From time to time, I’ll mention to my friends that they happen to live not just in one of the best places to live in the world, but in history. I’m not trying to be a dick or anything, or even to “put things in perspective”. It’s just something that studying history keeps at the top of my mind.
As much as I think of it in this general way, I rarely think specifically about the grandness of my life. Today, while taking one of my (now) daily hour long baths, I realized that my life is, leisurewise, comparable to a Roman Patrician, (and of course in most other ways except financially and relative to my society, even superior).
A run down of some of the comparable or superior qualities of my average day and life in general:
- My schedule is entirely in my hands.
- I spend what time I want leisurely discussing politics, movies, gossip, books, etc… (each in a equally disinterested way) with friends over food.
- I spend as much of each day watching Gladiatorial contests (MMA), and theatre (movies and TV) as I want.
- I gamble without any real risk of financial difficulties for large parts of the day.
- I’m free to produce large amounts of inane writing, generally opinion pieces rather than anything substantial, on whatever topic I feel like in a most self-satisfied and condescending style.
- I have the time to spend hours doing things like bathing each day, or reading whatever I want.
- My income stream, which requires no effort, is relatively secure, (though not really adequate).
- I’ll often spend whole days laying in one place too lazy to do anything, without any repercussions.
- My access to high quality foods from all over the world is near complete (I’m an excellent theif, as some might (wrongly) say the Patricians were).
Three ways stand out in which my quality of life is lacking in comparison though:
- I have no slaves. I lament this daily. I would so greatly like a Greek to handle my business, and a Thracian or two maybe to run my household. If I had a Briton to take care of my horses, perhaps that would motivate me to actually have horses. I can get so much done when others do the legwork.
- I have no debauchery in my life. I dislike debauchery, to be sure, but for form’s sake would like to have it. My name is Caligula after all. I ought to be fucking every married woman in own and killing the husbands for entertainment.
- I lack political power over those around me. My family is an old and famous family with a storied history and blah blah blah, but it doesn’t buy me the right to strike someone down in the street or successfully demand the command of several army divisions. Running for Senator would take more than just letting it be known which family I belong to. Starting a war would entail more than just suggesting that I’ve been insulted by a foreigner.
As much as my modern Patrician life has going for me, the lack of these three things is felt sorely. I view my task in the next three years to be to eliminate those deficits. Then, at thirty, I will set some new goals, such as returning Prussia to the fold, establishing military government in Canada, fathering a wolf-human manimal, or destroying an entire old-growth forest.
The future looks the brightest it ever has.
The God Who Wasn’t There (video) February 21, 2007

I get asked about the history of Christianity a lot. Think what you will of me as a source of information about anything other than celeb gossip, but it does happen.
The truth is I’ve studied Christian history a fair bit. Not to an expert level or anything, but I always took an interest. A purely historical interest. Even though I’ve read the bible a couple times, (translating the Vulgate was how I initially taught myself Latin (brag brag)), I’m pretty ignorant about doctrinal matters, at least ones that are current after say, the Vulgate (400 CE), or that aren’t an issue affecting Habsburg temporal authority.*
I’m also right now very interested, as I partially mentioned in the previous post, in how totalitarian ideologies separate themselves from history, theirs and others. Basically, how say Christianity/Marxism can continue to exist in spite of their histories.** Whatever. I don’t really like mentioning things I’m seriously thinking of in a blog. Or to other people in general.
Anyway, when I’m asked these questions I don’t think I do a very good job of explaining things. My thought process is a little strange, and my obsessions can over obviously dictate the way I explain things.*** Also, I stutter a bit when explaining things, and dislike that. So wherever possible I find someone else to express what I’m thinking, (which always leads to me putting forward explanations which I don’t agree with completely). So here’s an explanation of early christian history in video form that I found entertaining. Couldn’t say I agree with everything said, or that I see the point of including everything it does, and so on and so forth, but that goes for anything produced by someone who isn’t Bismark, Augustus, or of Royal Blood.
This first part is an entertaining rundown of the life of Jesus. I wish the “historical footage” was from Jesus Christ Superstar, really one of the greatest movies ever made.
I don’t entirely remember the content of this video, I think it’s about immediately post Jesus period. If you think it’s being a bit harsh when discussing the lack of connection between the era of Jesus and the Paulian and Gospel periods, you should know it’s actually being very generous. I think this segment ends with the heroic checklist, something I always find entertaining.
This segment continues with the theme of the generic nature of Jesus, and touches on some of the saviours/gods he’s an, um, replica of. They’re worth looking into. Somewhere Stephen Fry does a pretty good job of comparing Mithras and Jesus. I know it’s on the internets somewhere, maybe I’ll see if I can find it. Anyway, as someone who learned Hellenic, Roman, Egyptian, and Mesopotamian mythology a good ten years before Christian mythology, I can vouch for the unoriginality of the whole Jesus thing.
This segment is a bit more sensationalist than the rest. It’s not my favourite. The doctrinal problems of Christianity are less interesting than the historical problems to me. (Not that this is some in-depth doctrinal primer.) Like, I view Arianism as a less retarded form of Christian doctrine, but don’t at all give a shit. It’s not what’s believed that’s the problem for me, it’s the way it’s believed. (Though that what’s believed is stupid doesn’t help.) So, while I understand the focus this segment has, it doesn’t “float my boat”. Or “put ham in my jelly”, as they say. “Reindeer off the noise.”
Overall, an entertaining little video on Christianity. And one that’s of course thematically applicable to all the totalitarian ideologies in that interesting way in which that segment in the last post’s video about Lysenko was such a perfect critique of a defining aspect of all Totalitarian ideologies.****
Anyway, I’ll try to follow up these far too serious posts with something akin to that wonderous video of a monkey peeing into it’s own mouth.
*-Actually, reading the bible is a pretty god way to become confused about what Christians believe.
**-I guess the simple answer is they make up history, or economics, or science, or whatever. Think of “Marxist historians”. Funny stuff.
***-Given enough time, any topic I address can and will be brought back to WWI, the historical westward aggression of Poland, the post-modernists and Marxists who have made the left an embarrassment, and how I’d love to have a job drowning people at a Drownery. In many ways, all topics actually are just about these things, so I don’t think it’s necessarily a problem on my part.
****-I keep lumping Christianity in with other Totalitarian ideologies, but I think I’m doing it in a confusing way. Christianity is to me an ideology which is Totalitarian. But it’s isn’t a movement which is necessarily Totalitarian. And I don’t mean that in the way you’d say that a non-Totalitarian version of Marxism/Nazism could exist, but would be a total failure, and so isn’t necessarily Totalitarian but functionally is so. Christianity I think can and does exist in a non-Totalitarian manner, and has a particular Totalitarian form (Dominionism) which isn’t dominant or even a factor in most places. So what I’m trying to express in my confused way is that there isn’t a 1:1 correlation between Totalitarian Ideologies and Totalitarian Movements in the way I use the term. Which is my fault for not cleaning up my terms and pretty lazily using one term in two different ways. So I apologize. If I were writing a paper I would better define things and so on and so forth. Luckily, this is a fucking blog about how I generally eat rotten food and hate the Irish and communists, so I’m not being held to any such stringent standards.

Evolution video February 21, 2007

Great video here of a German TV show on the faux evolution vs creationism controversy.
It’s a half-hour long, but a good watch.
The last part of the video focuses on the former Soviet Union’s denial of evolution and it’s effects, but works also as a deadening critique of Marxism (or really any Totalitarian ideology).
This is only day two of my journey into understanding and accepting that Christians actually believe the bullshit they spew, and aren’t just saying it in that creepy Ayn Randish “I’m being an asshole” way I always took it.* Which is just making me scared.
Anyway, I liked the colour coded graphics on the Hox genes section, which was fairly basic and all, but I just thought it was a really good way of showing it.
Enjoy.
*-I’m having trouble explaining exactly what I mean here. Think of the bullshit someone like O’Reilly will say when you think they’re being especially ‘cynical’.
